Lance A. White
Lance A. White brings more than three decades of experience across private wealth management, capital markets, technology investing, and venture capital. His career has been defined by a unique intersection of institutional finance and private-market investing, advising sophisticated families and entrepreneurs while independently building deep relationships throughout the technology and venture-capital ecosystem.
Lance began his career in financial services while attending The Ohio State University and went on to spend significant portions of his career at Morgan Stanley and UBS before joining NewEdge. Over the course of more than 30 years, he developed extensive experience across wealth management, equity syndicate, IPOs, secondary offerings, capital markets, alternative investments, and technology-focused strategies.
Throughout his career, Lance has maintained a particular focus on technological disruption and the businesses capable of reshaping established industries. While at UBS, he developed an investment strategy centered on identifying companies and technologies positioned to transform large markets. That philosophy, recognizing important technological shifts before they become broadly understood, has remained a consistent theme throughout his career.
Lance’s involvement in venture capital began long before private markets became a mainstream allocation for wealth-management clients and family offices. For decades, he has personally participated in the venture ecosystem, developing relationships with founders, venture firms, family offices, and other sophisticated investors while gaining exposure to successive generations of technological innovation.
His investment perspective spans artificial intelligence, robotics, aerospace, defense technology, space, biotechnology, fintech, energy, digital assets, and other emerging industries. Across those sectors, Lance has remained focused on identifying ambitious companies pursuing transformative technologies, creating new markets, or fundamentally changing existing ones.
Today, Lance combines that venture perspective with more than three decades of experience navigating public markets and advising sophisticated investors through multiple economic and market cycles. His approach recognizes that private-market opportunities should not exist in isolation, but instead should be evaluated within the broader context of an investor’s liquidity needs, risk.
